The in vivo grade recombinant anti-DNP mouse IgG2a monoclonal antibody was produced in mammalian cells.
Background
Combined with the anti-DNP monoclonal antibodies, the dinitrophenyl (DNP) hapten is an excellent alternative to biotin for use in applications requiring biotin-free systems. Probes or antibodies labeled with DNP can be detected using the recombinant anti-DNP monoclonal antibodies.
The recombinant anti-DNP monoclonal antibody can also be used to visualize and localize the sites of oxidative damage by immunodetection of DNP adduction resulting from reaction of the tissue with DNPH.
