Background
Flt3L is an essential growth factor that promotes the differentiation of hematopoietic cells and the development of NK cells, B cells, T cells, monocytes/macrophages and dendritic cells. Flt3L synergizes well with a number of colony stimulating factors such as G-CSF, GM-CSF, M-CSF and SCF. Flt3L is considered a stimulant of the immune system. It cooperates with IL2, 6, 7, and 15 to induce NK cell development and with IL3, 7, and 11 to induce terminal B cell maturation.
