特异性 c-Fos antibody detects endogenous levels of c-Fos.
反应性 Human, Mouse, Rat.
免疫源 The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human c-Fos.
纯化 The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation.
抗体形式 Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
稳定性与存储 Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

PA000542-R12-2090: c-Fos Polyclonal Antibody
Background
The human oncogene c-fos is cellular homolog of the transforming gene of Finkel-Biskis-Jinkins (FBJ)murine osteosarcoma virus which was mapped to a single human chromosome.1 c-Fos is encoded by the FOS gene. FOS was the first transcription factor identified that has a critical function in regulating the development of cells destined to form and maintain the skeleton. FOS is also a major component of the activator protein-1 (AP-1) transcription factor complex, which includes members of the JUN family.c-fos is a major nuclear target for signal transduction pathways involved in the regulation of cell growth, differentiation, and transformation.2 Using transgenic and knockout mice, Grigoriadis et al. (1995) established a unique role for the proto-oncogene and nuclear transcription factor, Fos, in regulating thedifferentiation and activity of specific bone cell populations, both during normal development and in bone disease.
